Hard Wire Fan >> Help
Ok so I am looking to see if anyone else has hard wired there fan to a kill switch? The other day I was trying to fig out my cooling problem and its the fan it works when hooked straight to the battery but not when its hooked up normal... So I am just going to wire it to a kill switch but wanted some in put from those who have done this...

if you want to control it manually, take the wire that normally goes to the switch in the head and wire it up to a switch that gets grounded when turned on. did this for a while on my last car without issue

I always had trouble with the factory fan setup - I always got a bad relay, or a bad fan switch. I went with an aftermarket fan controller than probes the radiator, and never looked back - 5 years later it's been perfect since day 1. The one I got was expensive ( Flex-a-lite @ $100), but is fully adjustable temp settings, has all the features you'd ever need, and comes with great directions and everything needed (does not use any factory wiring except the fan power and ground).
