I was wondering did they make a upper piece on the Gta trans am like they did for the air flow through the radiator on the iroc z camaro I tryed taking on off a 89 camaro iroc an it didn't fit no where close I have a big open space an I wanted to block the upper part off an the sides so I get better air flow up an through the radiator I got a lower air damn almost touching the ground like the corvette design they out on the c4 vettes

 

If you are referring to something between the headlights, around the hood latch, in front of the radiator wall & behind the turn signals? If so, then yes. There should be a metal plate that covers that area, as well as a plastic piece lower the curves up from the bottom of the nose up to the top of the radiator, to smooth the airflow up & into the radiator.

 

Most of the nose is off my 91 Firebird, but you get the idea of how it fits even without it being there.

So these cars are suppose to have it as well I thought just the camaro had them for the dual air snorkel setup on the tpi is there a specific year that it came on the firebird or does it have it on all 82-92 firebird, trans am, formula

 

Need to know which piece you are asking about. I told you about 2 & you say just "this piece".

Piece #1...Only Camaros had the plastic dual filter piece. The Firebird hoods are too low to allow the dual filter induction piece to fit over the radiator.

Piece #2...The metal piece in my pic is a Firebird piece that Camaros never came with.
