No coolant flow, and foam in coolant help!

Got home from work opened the hood just to monitor my oil and i noticed foam in my coolant reservoir. So i let the car cool down a bit then went back to it about an hour later and turned it on and let it warm up.

I noticed the upper hose isnt flowing any coolant even at normal temp it just gets hot and i can press down on it fully so no flow of coolant.

What does this usually indicate? I checked my oil and its fine, i checked for coolant leaks and nothing driping at all.

Did my water pump go out? Any help appreciated.

If nothing is flowing through your upper radiator hose, your thermostat is not opening. Is it fully warmed up? Perhaps overheating caused it to fail closed. Cheap to replace

start the car, open the rad cap and see if you see flow. Whether you are at therm open temp or not doesn't matter, you will see flow if the WP is working.

As for the upper hose, you will know if the thermostat opens or not as the hose will get very hot near the radiator

Upper hose on Drivers side? If so, should still fill up. Will then get very hard and big, because it will be getting blocked from flowing through if your thermastat was bad and not opening.
