single row aluminum would probably cool the same as a normal stock one. if you're going the performance route, it may be worthwhile to step up to something bigger.

I don't race much. None the less drive the Camaro everyday. My biggest concern is the 100+ degree summers. Would it be better to have my stock 3 row taken apart, cleaned out, re-soldered and re-installed??

Seems like a gamble. I can either buy this 1 row aluminum radiator, or I can take my OEM 3 row radiator and have it taken apart and cleaned out for $30. What would you do if you where in my situation? New 1 row, or service my OEM radiator?

I'd say service the OEM one, unless the part you're going to fit is an improvement. Which from the sounds of it, it's a 50/50.
I'm in a similar boat (cracked tanks), and I'll be going with a 2 row ally replacement.

I already junked the oem radiator and bought a $220 all aluminum radiator (Champion cc951). 3 row.

More or less the solution I've arrived at.
