Coolant hose cleanup/reroute... need some help...
Hey fellas, last year I elimanated most of the hoses under the hood of the Camaro. One issue I am running into is that I used a rubber cap on the passengerside radiator nipple... looks like about a 5/8th in nipple. The issue is that the cap cracks and leaks after a month or two. What can I do to seal this nipple. Another thought was to run a heater hose from this port to the front of the intake manifold. The manifold port nipple was removed and a plug was installed but can easily be changed back over. The only issue I see with adding the hose is the routing as there are several bends and I cant find a molded hose to fit good in there. I would like to just permanently seal the nipple on the radiator but these damned caps keep breaking up. What can I do to remedy this? I thought about tapping the port and installing a plug, but as it is plastic, I am kinda iffy.... Is there any better alternative other than replacing the crap rubber cap every couple months?

Isn't that nipple where the return from the heater core would normally be? I'm guessing you perhaps bypassed the heater core? Couldn't you run a hose from where the heater core feed came from after going through the engine to that nipple to return heated water to the radiator?
