coolant passage from one cylinder head to another

has anyone on here ever tried plumbing a -6 water line into the exhaust side of the head between 5/7 and 6/8? ive heard this helps with cooling of head in "hot" spot area.also evens out the whole cooling process too.

or has anyone with a single plane/ dual plane intake try plum a water line from the back of the intake near where the distributor is to the front thermostat passage? or even from the passanger side to driver side of the intake in the back?

just thinking out loud here, ive seen the intake mods like that before but i wonder if they actually help with anything...

i was thinking about trying something like that. heres a water by-pass kit from jegs.
