ok so for awhile now ive had hassle with my 86 z28 camaro.. and its about time i fixed it. the car has sat for 2 long and its time to move it lol. i have located the coolant temperature sensor on the driver side under the exhaust manifold. but it looks very wierd. and the wire that i have from my gauges is different... -we have reason to believe they swapped the 305 out that was original for a 305 chevy pickup motor- the original wire is still thier Drk green -but not hooked up of course.. in the attachments thiers the picture of the sensor i found in it... should i get the sensor for the 86 iroc-z28 or what?..

 

Get the sender to match the gauges that you're using it with.

 

using original gauge cluster. spent about 150$ buying it...
