Phantom Leak!
I have a weird water leak that seems to happen mostly at night, once I park the car after it has been driven for a while it will leak out a puddle of water from around the passanger side by the firewall. Lastnight I noticed it after about driving it for 30 miles with the defroster on, ive opened up the hood and I cant see any condensation only thing I see is a little bit of water between the passanger Strut Tower and Firewall, there is no condensation on the A/C condenser. I don't think it's the heater core because its not coolant nor is my passanger floor wet.

Wondering if anyone knows what this is or has had this happen it is driving me nuts trying to figure it out.
Thanks

Re: Phantom Leak!
I had a phantom leak a few weeks ago. When I finally decided to search for it, i had parked the car and could see from my porch that there were drops of something coming from pass side of car. Went out with a flash light even though it was day time, because i had looked a few other times but found nothing. This time i was Determined to find the leak. All hoses looked great and rad looked good. I went all the way to the top of rad hose connected to engine side and there was a pin hole, just squirting a steady stream of water. They say the hoses rot from inside out. Just glad it didn't blow on me while driving. because the hose looked great. Easy fix!
