switched electric fan for mechanical fan

Ok, first off I switched my electric fan for a mechanical fan complete with shroud but I am not running a fan clutch. The fan bolts directly to the front of the waterpump. Would this affect my A/C if I decide to repair it? Also, does anyone else have this setup and are willing to share pics? I think mine looks kind of butchered.

I don't see how it would effect your A/C system at all. Can you be more specific on how you think it would effect it?

I'm guessing he's concerned about overheating becaus of all the discussion on the board about the fan(s) coming on when the AC is turned on.
Just not sure why someone would regress to a mechanical fan. It takes horses to turn that thing.

Re: switched electric fan for mechanical fan

I'm looking for a stock looking electric fan set up. I can't seem to find a stock fan mount anywhere. What's the best looking as close to stock setup, or where can I get a stock mount?
