need a shroud for elec fan 86 camaro or new fans - opinions???
i have an 86 iroc, came with the 305 HO. now has a 355 with many things done but stock cooling system. the single electric fan doesnt seem to cool it down enough going through town or at a stop. i recently put in a 180 thermostat to keep the temp down, which makes me feel better than the 195 i had. on a hot day (today) i took it for a drive and it ran about 195 on the hwy which is what i was shooting for. but when i drove around in town for a bit and beat on it it was up to about 210 before i took it home. i know 210 is not too tragically high, but i want it to run at 195-200 all the time. so does anyone have or know where i can get like a shroud for stock electric fan or is there a cheap fan setup out there that will work a lot better than stock? i have an adjustable fan relay also, and it is turning on right now at roughly 150

RicksCamaros.com has the stock types.
Also, you might want to make one on your own out of fiberglass or carbon fiber.
It’s not that difficult as you can start with the stock one and expand it to cover 100% of the rad.
