Fan broken?

Well i just bought a 92 z28 with the 350. For some reason the fan dosent turn on unless i have the A/C on, im gonna get it checked tomorrow but was wondering what your guyses opinion is?

have you waited for engine to warm up to where thermostat opens up? Upper hose will get Hot, that's when fans should kick on.

Prolly a bad Coolant Temp Sensor which sends signal to ECM

Or Prolly no Ground signal being sent to fan relay

I wired up my stock dual fans with this: http://www.amazon.com/Hayden-Automot.../dp/B000C3DD7M

bypassing the CTS and the ECM problem I had. I was lucky to find one on Amazon for around $10 bucks at the time. Works like a champ.
