Replace original '89 low mileage hoses, or not?

The system needs flushing and new antifreeze; I'm not sure when it was done last. But I'm undecided about replacing all the hoses. Yes, they're 23 years old but there's only 31,000 original miles on them, and the car.

They look and feel like new; and it's cool the heater hoses are date coded as well. But the date codes won't give me much satisfaction when I'm on the side of the road with a burst hose.

It's had a sheltered life--even the original tires have no weatherchecking on them.

What do you guys think?

I would replace if you want reliability, if the original ones mean a lot to you, I'd take them off and save them. Go with new clamps too

Depends on what your use will be. IMO if you are only going to carshows on weekends or out for cruise night, leave everything as it is. If any more than that, take the parts off and put them on the shelf. The same thing is true about the tires. You can't always tell a good tire from one about to fail because of age.

Yes, this is exactly the life it leads; I'll just keep things as they are. But the tires are coming off this afternoon!
