Swapping electric to mechanical fan?
So after having to replace 3 electric fans and getting tired of them shorting out. Has anyone had success with swapping to a mechanical fan? I have an 85 IROC with the L69 and I'm thinking of just bolting a fan right to the water pump.

pretty much a bolt -on swap using parts from an '82-85 belt fan v8 third.
