just unbolt it. If I remember right, there is one or 2 you have to get from inside the car.

Yup, a coupla bolts under the top edge of the carpet.

You'll find that it's easier to take the whole thing out and THEN take it apart, than to take the halves out separately.

Go visit a car assy plant sometime and watch em put cars together. Notice that as they put em together, they spend 37 seconds or whatever, at each workstation... 37 seconds to put in a seat, 37 seconds to put on a door, 37 seconds to put in the A/C evap hsg, 37 seconds 37 seconds 37 seconds .... If it only takes 37 seconds to put in, can't take very long to take back out again either, eh?? (might not be exactly 37 seconds for every prod line; might be 28, might be 53, might even vary somewhat from day to day depending on how may they're producing; but I'm sure you'd settle for 53 seconds instead of 37)

Then learn to take em apart the same way. I can assure you, they DON'T put those things into cars one little piece at a time.

I got it out yesterday it was the 2 bolts inside that were holding it in. Thanks for the help guys and Sofakingdom it is easy once you find it and if it isn't rusty.

Go visit the Vette plant in Bowling Green KY. A short jaunt from anywhere in OH. You'll be amazed at how little you know about how cars are put together; and how valuable just knowing how it's done, can be, when attempting to restore one.

You'll drive right by a Honda plant in Columbus and a Toyota plant in Georgetown KY as well. Might as well make a day of it and tour em all.
