84 sensor location

I have an 84 TA with the factory elec fan, but the sensors and original motor are long gone, i have a toggle switch and aftermarket temp gauge and i want to go back to stock.
i picked up the oem style water neck with the sensor fitting
so of the two sensors the temp switch for the fan and the sensor for the gauge what one goes where?

also if anyone can post some pics of a L69 that shows the connectors for these sensors and where in the wire harness they come from
thank you

Re: 84 sensor location

Out of the 2 sensors in the water neck: the fan switch is in the pass side head and gets a green w white stripe wire that breaks out of the harness along the intake side of the pass valve cover right about even with the EGR solenoid, and the temp gauge sender is in the driver's side head and gets a green wire that breaks out of a similar harness by the driver's side valve cover right about as it passes the carb.

Re: 84 sensor location

i have a green wire near the driver side but i didnt think it was right.
i was looking for a 2 wire connector for the gauge, and autozone only has sensors with 2 wire connectors listed could you recommend where i could get the correct sensor.
thanks
