rust in radiator
empty coolant overflow tank, and rust in radiator and on cap. just recently noticed 2 weeks ago, overflow tank needs to be replaced but never got around to it. wonder if that caused it.
how much of a problem is this and should i be worried?

Re: rust in radiator
Replace your overflow tank and flush out your cooling system. Conventional green coolant only has a service life of 2 years, then the anti rust and corrosion additives lose their strength.

Re: rust in radiator
Could also be casting sand from the block. I had this issue with my TTA, I thought it was rust until I removed the radiator and tore the side piece off. The bottom 3-4 inches of the radiator was filled with brown sand.... IMO you need to replace the radiator.
