Is this essential for keeping my car running cool?
My Iroc had a sc and intercooler on it when I got it which I've since removed. I'm trying to reinstall the air deflectors/baffles in the front but some pieces are missing and/or hacked up. I have a new air dam coming. Is this piece (see pic) necessary in forcing air up to the radiator as well or to the air filters? If needed for cooling, do you guys think it would work as is or should I get a new one. Thx.

Was older SN so didn't match well with my eng and Miniram...sold it to use money elsewhere and will upgrade to a ProCharger or something later.
Cool, then I won't worry about this piece.
