Not Cooling..

I recently bought a 85 IROC because my RS was totaled due to a drunk driver.
When I bought it the guy said his wife had ran it hot and it was having some problems. I brought it home and put a new thermostat in it and it isn't cooling. It never builds pressure in the lines to the radiator and the temperature just climbs to 220+ in a matter of minutes. I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

Re: Not Cooling..

Sounds to me like your water pump isnt, um, pumping water. No water flow = no pressure.
