a/c low pressure switch adjustment screw?help

can anyone give me any info on wether im supposed to turn the screw clockwise or counterclockwise to kick the compressor on at a lower temperature?

i heard its an easy mod but im not sure which way im supposed to turn the screw? (running r134)

anyone got any info?

Turn it about 1/8th counter clock wise.......So if the screw is pointing at 12 o clock, turn it to the left so that it's pointing about 10 o clock.

thanks for the reply, what exactly is supposed to happen when the screw is turned counter clockwise?

It lowers the cutoff pressure for the compressor making the compressor run longer, giving colder air.

If it has gradually gotten warmer, that is probably a bad idea.
Still running R12? leaky system?

its pretty cold im running r134 so far it seemed like the screw made a minimal difference but a difference for sure, i might give it another 1/4 turn
