Replace cooling fan to start at lower temp.

I need to replace my stock cooling fan + thermostat so that it can start on a lower temp rather than on stock temp or runs continuously.

What do I need to change/replace (besides fan and thermostat) in order to make it happen ?

Would this work or do I need something else ?

no need to change fan and stat, you need to chang ethe temp switch or in case of a computer controlled fan (dual fans) you need to alter the tune

I have a single fan right now (Guess it's stock). Where is the temp switch located on a camaro 91 V6 ?
Is is just to replace it ?

Read somewhere that stock fan on 3.1L runs by the ECM. Is it true? And if so where can I get a computer unit to alter it ? Any suggestions ?

The ecm controls the fan setting like twin_turbo said, I offer reprograming send me a pm if you decide to go that route. I also have the 3.1 memcals if you can't have the car down.
