Heater hose available?

About time for new antifreeze, like to replace all the heater hoses, get rid of the Goodyear blue leakers. Wondering if there is a replacement for the little curved hose behind the engine? Item two in the diagram here.

Re: Heater hose available?

I used a brass adapter and 1/2" hose. worked great. Whoops! After further review, my routing
is different. Never mind!

I bought a new one from autozone a while back. It didnt show up in the computer, so I had to take off the hose and take it there and they went back to where the hoses were and matched it up. It was the exact hose. Give that a try.

Re: Heater hose available?

Mine is carburated, hose that is no longer available comes out of the rear manifold and goes to a "T" in the heater hose. It starts out 3/8 in and ends up 1/2 in. But the adapter fitting and 1/2 in hose did the trick. Glad yours was available.

Re: Heater hose available?

Did find the hose at Autozone. Dayco #88353 or B88353. $12.99. Not quite as easy to get to as shown in the diagram either. They had all the curved hoses too. Also bought a new radiator for $89.99. If it cools this machine it seems like a heck of a deal.
