radiator pics?
I've got a 91 rs and I cannot for the life of me get a radiator to fit in my camaro. Here to find out it doesn't just sit down in there ( I'm stupid I know ) can you guys send some pictures of the brackets on top and bottom because even summit seems to think I'm crazy with this. I bought a brand new radiator that summit garuntees would fit, and it doesn't seem too. The only thing I can thinkis I need special brackets? Any ideas?

On the dual electric fan models there is just a plastic piece that bolts to the core support, goes on top of the rad, then the fans bolt into the plastic piece and onto another plastic mounting bracket on the tray that the rad sits in.

It'll cost more, but normally includes all the factory brackets and all the mounting stuff.

I dont have any mounting brackets so I guess that would be the first place to start. And yee it physically doesn't fit. I csn upload some pics if that helps. The radiator seems cheap though. Bought it new from summit, I went for a trans cooler and radiator and the guy said buy the combo because it has both built into one. Also theres no fan , guessing I should add them.

You normally reuse your old fan on the new radiator. And yes, if you have an auto trans, you'll need the built-in oil cooler.
If the radiator you bought from Summit doesn't even come close to the dimensions of your old rad, I'd send it back. It should at least fit inside the supports.
If you're just looking for a stock replacement, heck, I got one a few years back from Autozone...it had the plastic tanks and aluminum coil exactly like the old one. Bolted right in.
