Car: 1991 camaro
Engine: 305 tbi
Transmission: auto
temperature?
hi ive got a 91 305 tbi the car has external gauges on the dash for the water temp oil pressure an volt gauge....well all of them work except the water temp I think....my car has dual electric fans wired up separately to a manual switch an my car has a 160 degree thermo in it...is the thermo the problem or is it the gauge? plus ive deleted the diverter valve bcz I thought that might be why I don't have heat so idk if its the thermo or something else thanks

Temper Tantrum
With the engine OFF, but the key in the RUN position, ground the sender wire, then look at the temp gage.
What does the gage do when that wire is grounded?
