need help with heater wiring

need help with heater wiring

the heat had been taken out of my car and harness was cut out so i went to a junkyard and got a new harness and i purchased the ac delete box and new blower motor i know where everything connects except the red and gray/tan color connectors by the firewall they were connected in the donor but the engine was still in it so i couldnt really follow them to see where they went any info would be great thanks

If the car originally had A/C ? it would be wired for a blower high speed relay and a 4th speed( red and tan wires) . If you are retrofitting in A/C delete and fan resistor, the relay and extra speed aren't present. What you are left with is low, med and hi for heat. On an A/C car that would be low, low-med, med-hi and hi <-(uses blower relay). Tan is one of the mid speed and red supplied +12v constant to the blower relay.
But, that's just a guess.
