My fan is always on before my car is on
How can I have my fan turn on once the car starts?
The accessory position doesn't work on my car, and I like to listen to my stereo, but the fan kills the battery pretty quick.
Is this a problem with a sensor or is something wired wrong?

Your fan has been wired at some point to constantly run once the ignition is in the "run" position.
Originally the fan would kick on once the correct temperature( I think 220) was reached via the temperature switch.
Your options are to correct the issue by repairing the system to factory configuration, or run the fan through a manual switch.

If you cant repair the stock wiring than you can wire it like this.
Where it says "ground" coming off of the # 86 post is where the stock switch in the passenger side head goes.
I would find a switch that come's on at the 204* ( should be part # TFS8 )mark as apposed to the stock setting of 232* or so.
You can still use the stock 195* thermostat. That set up should at least keep the car a little cooler.
The battery junction block is extremely "HOT" at all times. You must disconnect both "pos" and "neg" cables from the battery to work with it. A 20 amp inline fuse should do it.
(14 gage wire for the fan, post #87 and #30 and 16 gage wire for the Ignition source # 85 & #86. with a 30 amp relay for a stock size fan.)
