How to delay fan shutoff after car shuts down.

I am interested in modifying my electric fan setup to stay on for a brief time after I shut the car off. On my everyday Buick, it will stay on for about 2 minutes.

I have searched on this site and on the net and could not find anything on the subject. Has anyone done this or know how to do it?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Louis

If you are running a LS it is a simple change in the tune. It has an option for you to have the fan run for a set amount of time if the temp is over a set amount.

Widely available and common industrial control stuff. Just hook it up in parallel with the fan switch in the head.
