Temp Gauge Reads Hot Always
Temp Gauge Reads Hot Always
The needle on my temp gauge always ends up at 260 no matter when I start the car. In the mornings it'll start at 100, but in about a minute it'll slowly make it's way back up. I've changed the switch and the gauge, but I'm still seeing the same results. Any help? Thanks.

Re: Temp Gauge Reads Hot Always
Have you checked the wiring for the gauge probe? The temp probe wire might be touching bare metal. Pop the hood and look at your driver side of your engine. On the head between cylinders 1&3 there is the temp probe for the dash gauge. The wire could have slipped off most likely and is touching bare metal.
