Over Heating 2002 Montero Sport

hey guys I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport 4wd. Overheats slowly unless the heater is on which I know acts as a second radiator. Someone is telling me that my radiator is bad, but most of what I read for this issue is mostly saying water pump and thermostat for this issue. What I am wondering is if my radiator is busted wouldnt it still over heat even with the heat on?

I'm wondering how these type of people even end up on such a specific site like TGO.

Re: Over Heating 2002 Montero Sport

The Google is one way... type in things "car overheating" or "starter problem" and this is one of the top sites that come up. Then when they get here that stupid "ask a question" banner pops up and we get ... this.

We're REALLY GOOD here at fixing our cars, and evidently The Google recognizes that. It fails to recognize however, that we aren't interested in fixing OTHER random cars.
