radiator

after a long drive the 2 core aluminum radiator is to cool at the cap but untouchable on the other side. ??

Are you overheating?

Have you tried changing your thermostat?

What investigation have you done?

thanks there... changed. the 195 for the 165 and it ran even coo... and with card board over half the radiator...maybe 110. so I well pull the stat out... change the 16 to the correct 15 psi. cap..... drop the coolant a little in the radiator and check the flow. it's a new pump also but I've had many bad new parts. another fella thought the core (heater?) cold be blocked but I don't think so. I have good inside heat. thanks again. sounds like a faaaast car you got there.

bought the last new gauge in the country about 5 years ago and with the new sensor I've seen it go the full spectrum over the summer. with no stat it won't get past 100 degrees at 48 degrees ambient temp. I bought a laser temp unit to check with but think it could also be the timing. thanks again.
