Cooling hysterisis 1989 TPI

I have a 5.7L TPI. I have a new ecm that turns the fan on at 195* I need to know if the stock cooling temp sender is compatible with a 180* thermostat ? Is this correct hysteresis ? Thank you

What temp sender are you referring to the secondary head switch ?
if primary fan was tuned to come on at 195f a 180 or 195f thermostat works fine.
operating temp might be close to 200f.

Nothing in the block, cts for the ecms control in front of the intake manifold.
seconday fan sw passenger head between 6&8 cylinder. And gauge in head on drivers side between 1&3 cylinder
