Bumper grills functional?
Would it be worth to make my 83 trans am's bumper vents functional, my reasoning behind the question is maybe it can produce an almost ram air effect and force more air through the radiator. My understanding is that the cooling is forced up from under the car through the radiator, and I figure I can skip the under the car portion and just shoot air through the bumper instead.

Do you have the solid inserts or the grilles? The grilles have slots in them for "some" airflow.

It used to have vented ones which I know allowed for a little air passage, but it has solid plexiglass inserts now.
