Aftermarket Firewall Heater/AC Box???
Anyone know where I can possibly find a new Heater Box / AC... Keeping AC, all I can seem to find are heater box with AC deleted....mine crumpled into a few pieces in spots removing it to paint bay.
I'm talking about the plastic box cover on passenger firewall that blower motor is connected to. I salvaged the top AC piece but the entire lower plastic I need to replace.
Any ideas guys? I looked everywhere, hopefully it's just my searching skills...hehe
Thanks!

Re: Aftermarket Firewall Heater/AC Box???
I put a hole in the bottom piece of mine when pulling an engine out. My solution was to use fiberglass to rebuild and strengthen it, then some light body filler to smooth it out, then SEM black paint. It looks brand new and should last another 20 years.
Beyond that, I saw a few on ebay for way too much. They also seemed like they'd probably need some repair work.

I've never seen new reproductions. The original is a type of fiberglass I think. Call a marina or boat builder and try to find somebody in your local area that does fiberglass repair. And be sure to tell them it is close to exhaust pipe and gets hot.
