If you want to keep your heater then you have to get a non AC heater box ( http://members.***.net/iroczdave1 ).
you dont have to get a non AC heater box to keep your heater...i still have my AC heater box and it works fine. Im about to start the process of finding a no ac heater box tho and getting the AC and smog pump delete pullies.

Yeah, you dont have to remove the AC heater box, but i would recommend getting the non AC box, it looks much cleaner and clears up so much more room.

i guess you are removing everything from the heater box to the compressor and also the AC condensor. No, there is nothing you have to plug. I would also get an AC delete pulley and get rid of that heavy compressor.
im using the idler pullie the opposite way it should be so i dont have the compressor or the smog pump. i have the belt over the top...so far working good but its probably ****ing the spring up or something.

But guys, with the non a/c blower box, its been discontined from GM and are scarce. So, where can i find one??

Can one from a different car (ex, s10) work with some minor fabrications??

is that non a/c box just a bolt in unit,or is there alot of fabricating that would have to be done to get it to work right?i dont have all the time in the world to do this stuff,so i need it to be somewhat easy to get in,not something that would take 2 days to get right.

non AC heater box installation process:
1. unbolt old heater box
2. lift out AC evaporator
3. bolt in non AC heater box
4. then just solder or connect the wires back together (very easy, just match the colors)
thats it
