2-ROW CHAMPION RADIATOR Install

Hi,

I recently purchased the following radiator and will be installing it soon. I remember seeing a post on this type of radiator install somewhen but cannot find it. Since its an after market rad I'm thinking there might be some adjustments in the install. Does anyone have any experience with installing a 2 row champion rad on 89 camaro.

Thanks

You'll have to trim the rubber isolator pads to accommodate the thicker core. Really not hard to do...

The Champion 2 core radiator is probably the closet you'll get to a larger direct replacement radiator, to get the factory upper support to work I ended up removing all of the factory rubber isolators and replaced them with adhesive backed weather stripping. when I made my aluminum upper radiator support, I didn't have to change the weather stripping I was using as rubber isolators.
