Coolant tank replacement
Ugly 41 year old OEM plastic tanks
New coolant tank and PS reservoir
Racetronic 2 liter expansion tank.
I replaced my plastic coolant tank with an aluminum expansion tank. This was purely aesthetic and was done when I was redoing the power steering /hydroboost system. The aluminum bracket mounts to the OEM tank pads.

Looks really nice. What did you do with the windshield washer reservoir?

Re: Coolant tank replacement
I deleted it. In the last two years since I finished this car I have not used the wipers let alone the washer. It has been a show car and will now be primarily my race car, so I don’t see a need for the washer tank in the future, but I do need the remote power steering reservoir that I put in place of the washer tank.
