Not exactly DYI.....Stage II chip question
Hey everybody, how's it going? I was wondering if anybody knew any info on the Hypertech Thermomaster (Stage II) chip.
I know, I know what you're thinking.......but there are a few of us on the TBI board who already wasted money on this thing(IMO) and are set on using it for a while to feel we got something for our money. We were wondering if the chip advances the timing over the stock chip, as we are looking into advancing our base timing. I know the chip bumps up the air/fuel ratio, but unsure about the timing. If anybody knows for sure, your help would be appreciated. Thank you
P.S. Yes, one day when I have more time I plan on learning how to burn my own chips, and can't wait! If it weren't for work and classes!! arrrgg
