Alternative to a distributor for Accel DFI

What alternatives are there to a distributor type ignition when using an Accel DFI (7.0 maybe) setup? I'm not going to have room on my intake manifold for a regular sized distributor, and rather than buy a mini sized distrib for $300, I was thinking for the same price there might be a coil pack / cam sensor setup to look around for? Any ideas?

Universal (HE), Hall Effect
Universal Hall Effect with cam sync

Ford (TFI), Thick Film Ignition
Honda VTEC, (IPU distributor)
Buick GN V6,DIS, coil packs
Universal Crank Trigger (includes Flying Magnet, Flying Lug)
