DFI on 90-92 Z28

I finally got my car running again after 5 years and my question is: I thought the SES lights on still when I first turn on the ignition switch even though it does not read any code(of course). Anyone out there with a 92 that has a DFI that can refresh me on this? It's been too long.

Thanks In Advance,

well I got a fresh motor and I am still breaking it in but that 406 is a beast. Finally the car is back on the road again after 5 years.

I got another funny question. When you have the ignition on (engine not running) and you turn the parking light/headlight, do you hear the fuel pump turns on again? Mine does. It's weird.
