Code 15........Help!!!

I was getting a code 15 which indicates cold temp sensor. So I replaced that, reset Computer and took off. I went about 8 miles and there the light came back. I checcked it and sure enough code 15 again.
Does anybody know or ever had this problem.
By the way this is a 305 CC carb car.
My choke light is also on in my dash but it has been on since I have owned it, not sure if that is related to the code or not. Please anybody help, I hate that light coming on especially at night.
Thanks in advance:hail:

You need to get you hands on the diagnostic tree for that code in you car. It may stem down to being a bad ecm. If you can't get the tree, I can give you some way of trying to diagnose it without it but you'll need some tools. You have to disconnect the ecm and check for continuity between the CTS wires. You'll also have to check them to ground and power. If you find they are not touching anything and have less than 5 ohms resistance, you can rule out the wiring being the problem. I don't remember how the sensor is because real old cars had only a one wire sensor. If that's the case the sensor provides ground internally and it can't be installed with any type of thread tape as that will cause it not to get reference ground. For the next thing though you will need a scanner. Then looking at CTS data, disconnect the cts and it should read -40 degrees F or some crazy cold temp like that. Then connect the two wires or ground the one wire (if the sensor style is that old) and you should get 300 degrees F or something that hot. If everything checks out well you should not be getting a code. I would probably suspect a bad connection at the ecm or something like that.

The choke light is either a bad oil pressure sensor or a missing choke fuse.
