What DFI to get?
I'm planning to remove my stock ECM and go with Accel DFI. Is there any DFI Unit that is direct plug in to the stock harness, car is a -89 GTA.

If you go with the Accel Version 6 you can adapt the stock harness to work, if you go with the Accel Gen 7 you need a new harness because the ECM can be set up to run in sequential injection mode. For the Gen 7 with harness and sensors software and interface cable you are looking at around 1500 bucks...

gta: All our tpi's came as "batch fire", where all of the injectors fire at the same time. "Sequential" fire allows the computer to control each injector individually. This would require the addition of 7 more wires in the harness, along with the electronics (and wiring) to control it.

Hmm..that sounds great but difficult to tune........
Think I will be satisfied with 6.32, is there any good place on the web to find a used unit and interface cable. Have a power processor now but I need to change more than I can do with it...
