Building WinALDL cable
The only part that got me into trouble was the switching transister didn't have it's own diagram. I did a search on the net and finally found one. The db9 connector is labled and the resisters arn't a problem as long as you get the transister correct.
I hope this helps a little and maybe someone will have a schematic on the switching transister. It would sure help some of us lesser educated with electronics to understand whats going on. Wouldn't hurt to have one on the winaldl down load page either.

Winaldl is a program you can run on a laptop or other computer and connect to your ALDL. It gives you a readout on what's going with your motor. There is a link in the first reply to the winaldl site.
