driving in "Limp mode" - bad for car?

driving in "Limp mode" - bad for car?

Will it hurt me to drive around in limp mode for a few days while I wait for the new prom to show up?

(Better to be safe than sorry)

I don't really see how it could be good for the car. I would be afraid of going too lean, and burning a piston.
