Well i had posted on another board about how the speedometer doesnt work the SES light is on and it runs very poorly-And the VSS is not the problem(we put a new one in and it changed nothing). By the way this is on a 91 GTA w/ a 305TPI. Now we have checked to see if any codes would come up on a scanner- and nothing came up at all. It kept asking for the key to be turned on- even when the car was running. And we also did it manually and the SES light didnt even flash. So it seems that something is wrong with the computers diagnostic system. So my question is my ecm not working? and could that cause the speedometer not to work? Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks

 

Well after doing a lot of reading i realized that the computer was fried. I replaced it today and it runs great- everything works again. I just thought i'd say the soultion in case any one had a similar problem. If anyone has questions about it i'd be happy to answer.
