These are the results that i got from my scan tool (which i borrowed from someone.. its pretty old) Its a short run in 2nd gear at WOT .. about 4 seconds long or so.. If yall could take a look at it and tell me what ya think.. its been running kinda crappy latley. almost like it is missing or something.. NOTICE the rpm curve.. I can post any other Info you guys need.. Just let me know and ill hook up the scan tool..

Based on that graph the only thing it says is "It took 25 frames to go from 2,200 rpm to 5,000 rpm".

You need to graph a LOT more before you will get anything meaningful and it depends on what you are looking for. Most useful is a WB O2 sensor reading and your injector pulse widths.

two things. assuming you didn't forget the decimal points, you are getting a massive amount of spark retard, and the motor crossed over the 14.7:1 boundary at around 4200RPM (14.7:1 is already way too lean for WOT, crossing the 14.7:1 boundary is rather extreme).. Clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump, bad FPR, stuff like that could contribute to you going lean like that. As for the spark retard, could be caused by too much base advance in the distributor, bad (low octane) gas, going lean, compression,.....

could also be a leak in the intake somewhere causing the lean condition and subsequent detonation.... pull the plugs and see what they look like.

it also could be false knock, causing the extreme amount of spark retard, which would cause incomplete combustion and send some oxygen out the tailpipe causing the lean reading....but i'm not sure on that, just a theory, anyone else comment? If the plugs show NO signs of detonation then i might expect some false knock problems.
