Hi.
My car is a Corvette 1990. (L98)
I'am planning to install a A/F gauge in my "cockpit".
Is there anything i should think of regarding the signal wiring, or
could i just split the 02-signal-to-computer for my new gauge?

 

Trying to get anything more then just blinky lights out of a stock O2 sensor is a joke. They tell you rich or leaner then Stoich., period. EGT, and a host of other variables screwem up. Save your money and get a real WB.

 

Yes it might be.
But at least it can be an indication of being way rich or way lean at cruise.

When your extending the o2 wire for long tubes and such, ive read to do it on the ECMs wiring and not cut/splice the o2s wire. Just a thought. One would be useful for telling when highway fuel mode kicks in but I agree with Grumpy.
