dose any one know why accell

sells there gen 7 ecm and harnes with out the calmap program just ticks me of you pay 900 bucks for a ecm and the thing is worthless without another $200 3.5 floppy gerrrrrr

I'm thinking that you meant the Gen 6 system. The Gen 7 kits include the com cable and software. You can download the software (for both Gen 6 and Gen 7) from... DFI HQ

so is that the same as the calmap that jegs and summit are selling for $209

Yep, the same software. The Gen 6 systems have all been discontinued, so the latest software for them is freely available if you already have a system. All the factory calibrations are posted there too.

yes but it look like it has the calmap for the gen 7 too or is that for the gen 6

Follow the "Click here to download Calmap" link. You will see software and calibrations for both the Gen 6 and Gen 7 systems.

ya i saw that, i just cant beleave that they are giving it away and jegs is selling it for 209 talk about a money making rip off thanks for all the help
