A question about Accel Gen 7

Right now I have the gen6 version but I'm thinking of getting the gen 7. I basically would like to know if I will see an increase in horsepower/torque from switching to the gen 7? Also will I need to get a different distributor? I'm also not sure if I should get the wide band. Any info would be great. Thanks

Your power output will depend on the tuning. Upgrading to a newer DFI wont mean you'll instantly get more power. If the newer DFI can tune the car better, then you might get more power. I sudgest you compare the two versions and see if your specific setup would benifit from the newer version (maybe it has more features, I'm not sure). If you have any questions about what you'll need to change to install it, your best bet would be to contact the manufacturer of the DFI (in this case, Accel).

Is this in a Lexus? I know a guy who swapped a JDM 2jz-gte into a Lexus SC400, but he didnt use Accel as his DFI. He used something else but I cant remember what it is. Good luck!!
