FAST eDIST with FAST SEFI and LS1 Coils

I am currently running a FAST sequential EFI with a crank trigger and a modified MSD distributor for a cam synch signal(reluctors removed except 1) and conventional MSD ignition.

I recently purchased the FAST eDIST LS1 "Direct Fit" 30-5001 distributorless ignition box, as well as the MSD distributor plug with cam synch, 8514. I will be using 8 LS1 coils.

The MSD cam synch plug is hall-effect, do I have to send my FAST SEFI back to FAST to have it setup for hall-effect cam synch? Also, the MSD cam synch has a 4-pin metripak connector, does anyone know what the pin outs are for it?

Anything else I need to know? Thanks!

Craig Smith one of the F.A.S.T. employees hangs out at the aftermarket ecm board at WWW.Turbobuicks.com and might be the guy to really ask.

Thanks Grumpy, I've already tried there. I was just hoping to get a head sart over the weekend with this thing since MSD and FAST doesn't have weekend tech support.

Well, if anyone is interested, the pin outs for the MSD 8514 cam synch distributor plug is:

A = Not Used
B = Ground
C = Hall-Effect 5v input(+)
D = Hall-Effect Signal (-)

Hey Monty,

I watched your videos you have on your web site and your Vette sounds unreal. Congradulations on getting that beast together.

Thanks! It's nice to finally be able to drive the car after working on it for 2 years... I need to get some more videos up, I've since done a lot of tuning and it runs much better, much smoother, and I'm actually getting between 15-20 mpg depending on how I drive it.
