coil / ac box issue ls1 swap
I have my ls1 swap mostly completed. I can drive the car now but I want to know what the best options are for the coil touching the evaporator case. I have already ground the case back a bit but that isn't enough.

A lot of people seem to get by with trimming the firewall case but I'm like you where it just wasn't enough. I modified the bracket to move the coil.
I took the drawing (link below), bracket, valve cover, and a coil to a welding shop and they did the mod for me.
