Anyone with GEN 7 and or the dual sync option?

I have a couple wiring questions:

-What is the wire marked "STI," or flying lead? What does it go to?

-What does the blue wire connect to on the dual sync distributor harness? I have the all the ESC equipment, and I think it might be for this.

Also, I just got the new Wide band kit for forced induction. It has a 2 pin femal connector on it with a red and black wire. I think it's for an external read-out, but I'm not positive. Any help would be appreciated!

don't you just love the instructions...lucky we have "aDFIguy", he just recenctly answered the STI question for me...

STI = Self Test Input.

Hook a lamp/LED up to the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Output and when you ground the STI line, error codes will be flashed out on the MIL line. You could also hook up the MIL line to the idiot/SES indicator on your dash (if you have one).

You are correct. 2 Pin connector is for voltage out corresponding to actual a:f ratio out.

12.5 volts = 12.5 a:f ratio...etc.
